Road Traffic Accident Claim (2004 – Leeds)

Claimant was involved in a rear end shunt accident sustaining a moderate whiplash injury to her neck which healed completely within the space of a year.

General Damages: £5,500.00

Accident at Work Compensation Claim (2004 – Liverpool)

Claimant was an HGV driver who injured his arm and back whilst at work. He was unable to return to work for almost 2 years after the accident. He successfully sued his employers and was awarded compensation totalling £39,000.00.

General Damages: £11,500.00
Loss of Earnings: £27,500.00

Medical Negligence Compensation Claim (2004 – London)

Claimant underwent an unnecessary brain operation where the surgeon opened up the wrong side of her head due to the fact that he had the x-ray film the wrong way round. The claimant sustained no real physical injuries by virtue of the fact that the operation was stopped. However she did suffer severe psychiatric problems as a result. She successfully sued the NHS Trust and was awarded £8,000.00.


Slip/Trip Compensation Claim (2005 – Bristol)

Claimant tripped and fell due to the presence of a defective paving slab. She sustained a number of fractures to her shoulder and arm. Her fall was witnessed by a local restaurant owner. She successfully sued the council for £12,000.00 by virtue of the fact that the defect had been left unrepaired for over a year.


Industrial Disease Compensation Claim (2005 – Birmingham)

Claimant contracted industrial asthma due to the working conditions and chemical fumes that she was made to endure whilst employed by a large multinational company. She successfully sued them and was awarded a settlement of £14,500.00 as a result.
