Tenosynovitis Claims

Tendonitis and Tenosynovitis are both ailments which involve the inflammation of the tendon (Tendonitis) and the inflammation of the tendon sheath (Tenosynovitis). The two conditions occur most commonly together. If you have developed either of these conditions by virtue of your working practices and the work that you do then you may be entitled to make a claim for compensation against your employer if it can be shown that it was their negligence which caused your injuries.

Types of compensation claim

Accidents at work

Many manual jobs and professions can cause an employee to overuse certain tendons especially repetitive jobs. The most common area is the wrist and arm. It is every employer’s duty to ensure that the workplace is safe and that a safe system of work is operated. If an employer has not undertaken the correct risk assessment and you sustain injury as a result then you may be entitled to make a claim for compensation.

Industrial Disease compensation claim

Certain industries require the workforce to undertake repeated manual tasks and it is this overuse of a tendon that can cause damage. If your tendon problems have been caused by overuse and lack of adequate rest whilst at work then you may be entitled to make a claim for compensation.

If you have been diagnosed with either Tendonitis or Tenosynovitis within the last 3 years and you are of the opinion that either problem has been caused by your work and working practices then simply complete the Claim Assessment Form at the Industrial Disease section and one of our specialist injury solicitors will contact you in order to discuss your claim in more depth.

All of our solicitors operate on a strictly no win, no fee basis and guarantee that you will receive 100% of any damages that you are awarded.
